This sign on Broadway in the Bushwick section of
Brooklyn advertises a turn-of-the-century pain medication. On the
corner is a business marker for S. Huffman- Jeweler & Optician.
First is a shot I recently took from the street-
followed by a shot I took last year after walking along the elevated
track between stations- and a final shot of the perplexed conductor
of the "J" Train as he tried to commandeer me into his car... ...I
don't think so.
I quickly left the way I came.
